SUMMARY. In the radical restructuring
of British society, the home section of British Intelligence, the
recently re-vamped MI5, is playing a crucial and fundamental role
- namely, that of co-ordinating the early detection of possible foci
of democratic resistance and the destabilization and neutralization
of all such movements. At a time of deepening national crisis, the
paranoid and pathologically secretive British dominant social group
is unleashing its own version of a J Edgar Hoover-type 'COINTELPRO'
(counter-intelligence programme) offensive.
